#1. What is People Of Our Time?
The easiest way to answer this question would be to direct you to our Aims page, which goes some way to detailing the philosophy behind People Of Our Time and what we're trying to achieve.
People Of Our Time is at the very beginning of its journey. As it picks up speed, the aim is to create a globablly recognised account of the people of today, to be passed through generations.

P.O.O.T is a term you may have come across when browsing the site. It is an abbreviation of People Of Our Time using the first letter of each word.
#3. How long will People Of Our Time be around for?
For as long as people exist in the world, so shall People Of Our Time. It'll be around forever, alien invasions notwithstanding.
#4. What are the benefits of taking part?
The key aspect of People Of Our Time is its collection of entries. In taking part, you are given the opportunity to submit your very own entry. Each entry is numerically ordered and the number of your entry will be unique to you. You also get a personalised Certificate to commemorate your participation.
#5. I'm under 16 years of age, can I still take part?
You most certainly can! However, you must obtain permission from whoever pays the bill before participating. A small donation is requested to cover the cost of your Certificate - full details here.
#6. What happens with my personal information when I join?
The issue of privacy is extremely serious, and one we take great care in abiding by.
When you join, you're asked for your postal address during the payment procedure. This is required by us to mail out your Certificate. It is not stored on our website or the server and it is not passed on to any third parties.
Should any issue arise with processing your entry, we need a valid email address in order to contact you, and also to set up your access to the members Lounge after your entry form has been submitted. It is not passed on to any third parties.
#7. Can I choose my Entry number?
Unfortunately, no. To avoid complication, Entry numbers are allocated by the order in which Entries are received. If, for example, you are the 10th person to join and add your entry, your Entry number will be #10, and so on.
#8. Are there any plans to print the entries in a book?
Actually, yes! Very much so. As People Of Our Time progresses, our ultimate goal is to see all entries published as a collection in print. Being able to pass that book down from generation to generation knowing that you're a part of it, to me, holds great sentimental value.
